Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for managing all aspects of poultry debone and slaughter processing ensuring procedures are followed, to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while still maintaining customer specifications. This role directs a team of employees through subordinate supervisors to ensuring compliance with all food safety programs, and company policies. Responsible for employees’ performance, development, safety, and work schedules. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: - Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with supervising and training employees while providing an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance. - Manage production process and employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback. - Promote safety throughout assigned work area. - Review and ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner. - Supervise, coach and train employees, providing professional development through ongoing feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement. - Work with Quality Assurance ensuring a food safe and sanitary environment within specifications a...
