Primary Responsibilities: - Lead a group of drivers, providing training and coaching. - Enforce safety regulations and ensure all drivers adhere to safety protocols - Compliance with all regulations - Report any accidents, incidents, or safety violations promptly - Maintain communication with Manager, transportation team, Sales and customers as required - Equipment maintenance ensures all required pre- and post-trip inspections are being performed to the expected requirements and communicates with the appropriate repair vendor with any necessary needs. - Oversee the proper recording of all daily records, HOS, DVIR, proof of deliveries, AlertMeter and fuel receipts - Accurate recording of pay activities for the week to be reviewed and submitted to Corporate Payroll - Utilize all transportation technology to include OTM, GeoTab, Lytx and Microsoft 365 products. - Random truck inspections to ensure drivers are taking care of equipment - Get Smith Systems training, company provided and utilize in driver coaching opportunities and training.
