Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Position Purpose: At Mercy Medical Center , the Operating Room RN delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients. What You Will Do: Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures. Required: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required Valid RN license in Massachusetts: Ideal candidates will have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experience. Preferred: Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross) Familiarity with AORN standards: Position Highlights: Per Diem – Rotating Shifts Shift requirement for this Option C position will require a commitment of: 8 (eight) shifts per month, comprised of off-shifts and 1 (one) weekend shift per month. **If the weekend is not needed that month, the eighth shift will still be required based on unit needs.
