Job description

Provides evidence-based treatment for adults referred to the Behavioral Health Clinic. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Provides psychotherapy and conducts psychological assessments to adults, assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base, and supports the Clinic’s clinical training program. Provides psychotherapy services to clients each week. Conducts clinical assessments. Meets monthly clinical productivity expectations. Assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base from Boys Town, medical providers, other treatment providers, and the general community. Provides clinical consultation with referral base for the purpose of coordinating care for clients. Obtains ongoing education related to the fields of clinical psychology and clinical assessment and intervention. Participates in clinical training activities and provides training in various psychological topics for Clinic staff. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of adult psychology with an emphasis on integrative approaches for addressing affective, physiological, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual needs of clients.
