Overview ABOUT THE POSITION: Senior Technical Advisor – On call Together, we work to improve mobility, enhance communities and economic vitality, and balance development and infrastructure needs with environmental stewardship. Responsibilities: - Advise on oversight of operations of transit & rail lines: training, facility upkeep, workforce welfare, CBA compliance, and regulatory compliance - Fleet reliability, mod programs, repeat rail car failure analysis etc. - Equipment inspection and evaluation of diesel/coach fleet - Initial inspection and failure analysis of R&R material - Collaborates with regional leadership and other senior leaders on strategic initiatives. - Develops and promotes short-range and long-range programs, plans, and business and marketing strategies that provide for strategic business opportunities (e.g., partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, alliances). - Cultivates relationships with long-term, key clients. - Seeks opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
