The Accountant balances accounts, makes adjustments and journal entries, and prepares financial statements and reports. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions: 1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times. 2. Assist with the departmental interface with appropriate internal and external departments, agencies, and companies. 3. Receive, collect, verify, organize, analyze, balance and/or input property-related accounting information as required. 4. Prepare, upload, and post journal entries into the accounting system. 5.
