Paralegal Specialist (County Attorney)

Job description

Salary: $29.85 - $52.27 JOB OVERVIEW: Performs para-professional duties assisting in legal issues including legal research, preparation of pleadings, legal documents and reports, as well as administrative/secretarial support functions for the Labor and Employment section of the County Attorney’s Office. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in Paralegal or Legal Assistance; and one year of attorney-supervised experience analyzing legal issues and conducting legal research of statutes, case law and other sources in the area of labor and employment law, drafting legal documents and assisting in the preparation of cases for trial. Or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted below.
