Product Compliance Engineer

Job description

The Product Compliance Engineer is responsible for reviewing projects to ensure product compliance is achieved in a proactive and documented manner. This position will also be responsible for providing the new product development team with compliance direction for projects as they navigate the design phases and maintaining an awareness of regulatory compliance matters to leverage and fulfill certifications for products. 1. Collaborate with external groups and internal engineering planning and design teams to ensure compliance standards. 2. Participate in Product Scope Reviews to ensure new products are appropriately planned for with regards to market regulations and consensus standards 3. Ability to understand and navigate consensus standards and work with Engineering to appropriately design products to meet requirements 4. Participate in Test Plan process to verify products meet any compliance performance requirements 5. Review marketing collateral to ensure market compliance and standard compliance. 6.
