JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a Procurement Team to achieve strategic and operational goals. - Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for aerospace components and materials, prioritizing LTAs and contracts to secure supply and reduce costs. - Supplier Negotiations: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards (e.g., AS9100). - Contract Management: Develop, implement, and oversee LTAs and contracts, targeting 80% of critical components under long-term agreements within 12 months. - Collaboration: Partner with Production Planners to forecast material needs, Supply Chain to ensure PO execution, and SRM to leverage supplier performance data. - Cost Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery performance. - Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities meet aerospace regulatory requirements (e.g., ITAR, FAR, export controls). - Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs, such as percentage of spend under LTAs, supplier on-time delivery, and cost savings. - Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risk...
