deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Mid-level Software Developer in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research is seeking a junior level software developer to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) development for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform. The successful candidate will work alongside other developers and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support test and analysis activities, and perform software debugging and troubleshooting as needed. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related discipline Experience Requirements: - 7+ years experience in Software Development on DoD programs. - Experience with C or C++ on Linux - Experience with Java - Experience with parallel processing - Strong Matlab and/or Python experience - Understanding of basic statistics - Experience with GIT version control - Ability to work with a team and also independently Special Skills Desired: Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance .
