Assistant Softball and Soccer Coach

The Assistant Softball and Soccer Coach will assist the head coaches with organizing daily operations of the softball and soccer program. The position assists with conducting practices and workouts, instructing student-athletes in-game strategies and techniques, and guiding student-athletes toward successfully completing their degree program. *This is a 10-month contract position Essential Functions: - Identify, recruit, coach, and retain student-athletes. - Organize and direct small groups and individual practice sessions. - Review game films and prepare scouting reports. - Participate in athletic fundraising and community service events. - Participate in game film assignments and assist with film exchange/sending films to four-year institutions to promote student-athletes. - Collect and input accurate stats. - Monitor student-athlete academic progress and study hall attendance. - Organize and maintain equipment inventory. - Coordinate game day set-up/breakdown and facility needs for visitors and officials, - Assist with team travel, meals, laundry, and equipment. - Adhere to all NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association), Columbia State, and TCCAA (Tennessee Community C...
