Introduction The Mains & Safety team within Development & Engineering plays a key role in designing safety‑critical handling systems for ASML’s lithography machines. These systems must perform reliably under a wide range of conditions to support system uptime and product quality. This internship supports that mission by improving how we validate the reliability of I/O modules returned from the field. You will help the team strengthen diagnostic capability while contributing to lower environmental impact and reduced Cost of Goods. This is a chance to gain hands‑on experience in a highly innovative and international environment. Your assignment: You will design and implement a complete testbench that combines hardware and software to verify the safety, performance, and functional integrity of PLC‑based I/O modules.
