Description The Forklift Operator will ensure the safe and efficient operation of sit-down forklift equipment to move, load, and unload shipments of various sizes while maintaining a fast-paced, team-oriented, and safety-driven environment. Summary of Essential Job Functions: - Pick and prepare material for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to load counts. - Verify load accuracy, inspect for product damage, and report discrepancies as necessary. - Manually stack 55-pound bags following customer instructions. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Adhere to all work instructions, safety procedures, and workplace policies. - Comply with OSHA and SDS standards. - Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues immediately. - Perform LP tank changes as needed, monitoring power sources for equipment. - Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and participate in physical inventory counts. - Communicate concerns or issues promptly to warehouse leads or management. - Perform other duties as assigned.
