Job description

The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) is a leading industry organization dedicated to the overall planning, development, marketing, and management of the commercial port facilities within the Port of Prince Rupert. PRPA is seeking a motivated, eager-to-learn student to join the environment compliance team. The opportunity offers a hands-on learning opportunity, with occasional support provided to the environmental stewardship and regulatory affairs teams. The student will assist environmental compliance staff with regulatory oversight tasks, including site audits, habitat project monitoring, and permit compliance support for various port projects. This position will also include an opportunity to complete a research project supporting a PRPA’s environmental program. Summer student employment is for four months, commencing May 4, 2026, and ending August 28, 2026, unless otherwise specified.
