Job Summary: The Counselor/Success Coach is primarily responsible for providing personal counseling to students, particularly those experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. The role includes supporting students who seek services directly, as well as those who are referred, connecting students to appropriate campus and community resources, and collaborating with campus partners to provide holistic support services that promote student success and retention. Counseling is the primary function of this role. The Counselor/Success Coach will provide academic advising support during peak periods (e.g., registration) and as needed, but does not serve as a primary advisor.
