Dynamics Test Engineer Department: Assembly, Integration & Test: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Redondo Beach: Compensation: $105,000 - $165,000 / year Description: As a Dynamics Test Engineer at Impulse, you will play a critical role in designing, planning, and executing vibration and environmental testing to ensure product reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with vibration testing equipment, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and execute vibration and shock tests (sine, random, and combined environments) - Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot vibration test equipment, including electrodynamic shakers, slip tables, and associated control systems and facility infrastructure - Develop detailed test plans, procedures, and instrumentation setups in alignment with project requirements and applicable standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, NASA GEVS, DO-160) - Monitor and control test execution, ensuring accurate data collection and safe operation - Analyze test data, generate technical reports, and communicate results...
