JOB SUMMARY: The Cook supports children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care in a therapeutic, supportive, and person-centered environment by preparing and serving nutritious meals that meet individual dietary needs and comply with health and safety regulations. The Cook collaborates with residential, educational, and clinical staff to support a consistent and structured daily routine through meal service. WORK SCHEDULE: Work site: Manchester Academy Sunday - Thursday, 6:00AM - 2:00PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: - Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus, special dietary needs, and portion control standards. - Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served in a sanitary and safe environment. - Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with state and local health department regulations. - Assist in meal planning and inventory management, including receiving, inspecting, and storing food and supplies. - Monitor and record food temperatures, refrigerator/freezer logs, and cleaning schedules as required. - F...
