Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op (must be enrolled in college)

Job description

Position Purpose: Carry out assignments from Maintenance/Engineering management, involved in supporting the Engineering and Maintenance department with updating 2D and 3D models, maintaining document control, equipment calibrations, drawings, blueprints, etc.. Provide plant floor assistance with preventative maintenance and problem solving to maintain current operational environment. Essential Functions: - Learn and assist with updating models and drawings with currently implemented processes and documents in the plant. - Assist in creating new models/drawings as assigned. - Work with ME and Maintenance departments to meet Engineering and Maintenance requirements, both locally at the plant level and at the Divisional level. - Work with ME and Maintenance departments/teams to maximize space utilization and optimal plant layout plans and efficiencies. - Assist with performing some preventative maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedule.
