About the role: WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role provides field service for commissioning, warranty evaluation, repair and support services for the WEG Motors. Primary Responsibilities: customers and the WEG internal teams. Education: - Serve as a technical resource for the installation, startup, and commissioning of Motors. - Serve as a technical resource for routine maintenance on Motors. - May provide technical expertise and guidance for the repair of Motors. - As needed, assist with warranty evaluation to determine whether a specific field service activity falls under a WEG warranty agreement. - As appropriate, coordinate work efforts with an Authorized Service Center in the USA. - Demonstrate a functional understanding of industrial applications in order to be able to support the WEG Energy products being used within the environment. - Demonstrate the ability to understand customers’ internal processes in order to be able to support the WEG products being used within the environment. - Exhibit effective customer service skills, projecting a positive corporate image. - Thoroughly document on-site...
