Description Travel: Intermittent Travel Required: 30- 50% Location: Independence, KY: Position Summary: The Industrial Machine Mechanic II is a journey-level mechanic capable of performing a wide range of CNC mechanical repairs and rebuild tasks with limited supervision. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with CNC machine tools, troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to assist with installations and rebuilds from start to finish. This position requires frequent travel, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboration with customers, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: · Serve as the subject matter expert for complex mechanical and machine tool issues · Perform major machine tool rebuilds, reconditioning, and precision fitting · Conduct advanced diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems · Troubleshoot and repair machine tool components, including electronic circuitry to the component level · Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble machine tool subassemblies and complete systems · Perform precision alignment, leveling, scraping, and mechanical adjustments · Organize, tag, and document machine components...
