(SAMGI) Location: Amarillo, TX Hospital: Northwest Texas Healthcare System Position Overview: Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking Trauma & Acute Care Surgeons: to join the surgical team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX. This position offers the opportunity to practice within a 495-bed Level II Trauma Center with established volume, defined coverage expectations, and a collaborative care model supported by experienced APPs. Program Highlights: Level II Trauma Center with strong, consistent volume High level of acuity: Dedicated surgical ICU: 24/7 in-house trauma coverage with structured backup system Residency program launching July 2026 (Texas Tech partnership) Clinic space available in on-campus MOB Schedule Structure: 24-Hour shifts 151 shifts per year (12–13 shifts/month) Additional backup-only shifts available: Compensation: Base Salary: $544,000 annually Backup-Only Shifts: $500/night (additional earning opportunity) Trauma Medical Director Admin Stipend: $80,000 Key Responsibilities: Provide operative and non-operative Trauma and ACS services ICU...
