Join our Critical Care Unit team (CCU) as a Patient Care Tech/CNA/MA/EMT! CCU: The CCU is a 13 bed-unit providing multiple levels of care to patients of all ages (neonate to geriatric). Patient conditions can range from intensive care to observational care. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Performs basic patient care according to established procedures under the supervision of staff RN/LPN, including hygiene, nutrition, I&O and vital sign monitoring. - Observes patient condition and reports immediately any abnormal symptoms or unusual occurrences. - Performs specialized skills after additional training and competency verification. - Maintains adequate supplies and participates in upkeep and stocking of unit and patient care areas. - Sets up and maintains equipment properly as directed. - Provides safe, efficient environment for patients and families. - Assists patients, visitors, and families, and either meets requests or communicates requests to appropriate staff member - Assists care providers as appropriate. - Assists with clerical duti...
