Decking Coordinator

Job description

Overview We are seeking a Decking Coordinator to join our Intsel Steel East business. This position is an on-site role at our New Castle, DE facility. The role will be primarily responsible for partnering with our Sales and Purchasing Department within the Intsel Steel East business to provide support with estimating, qouting, and coordinating the procurement of steel products. Responsibilities: - Develops and maintains relationships with customers and vendors. - Coordinates bill of materials with detailers, inside sales, and production. - Assists with order entry and provides delivery updates to customers. - Supports the execution of purchase orders and expedites shipments. - Maintains inventory levels per company guidelines. - Provides sales and technical support to the sales department. - Supports strategy to sell slow moving items. - Promotes the product with other branches. - Helps with determining pricing strategies. - Finalizes any claims arising from the purchase or sale of material. - Other duties as assigned.
