Amentum is seeking an Industrial Lubrication Technician to join our 2nd shift team of multi-skilled technicians in a manufacturing facility in Greenville, SC. Scheduled workdays and hours may vary based on critical business demand. Must be willing to work overtime when required. The Industrial Lubrication Technician is responsible for providing an entry level of experience in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures and systems in an industrial environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performs inspections; checking sprockets, chains, bearings, gear boxes and related mechanisms in an industrial production setting; lubrication; cleaning; filter changes; and minor repairs to equipment. Performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems. Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants. Identify and assist in troubleshooting conditions of wrong or degraded lubricants. Identify and assist in troubleshooting contaminated lubricant conditions.
