The solid tumor hematology oncology Physician Assistant provides comprehensive ambulatory care to one or more disease specific medical oncology patient populations. With an interdisciplinary team approach, this provider promotes a collaborative relationship between all providers, professional nurses and administrative staff, to ensure continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources. The PA is responsible for the assessment and management of solid tumor medical oncology patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and development and implementation of appropriate plans of care across the trajectory of illness for patients.
