Leidos has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an Application Specialist at the DOE Portsmouth (Piketon, Ohio) site. The position will be part of an IT team responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance , confi guration management and troubleshooting of Commercial-off-the-shelf software applications and approved custom devel oped applications to support business requirements/needs. Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain software applications to meet business requirements Provide support for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software applications Provide support for complex issues related to software tools, applications, databases and system access Interface with software vendors to analyze, implement or resolve issues with software applications Recommend software solutions to meet end user and business needs Support Cyber Security compliance and audit /assessment preparations Consult with business organizations to identify needs /requirements Develops and maintains documentation, user manuals, guides and technical information associated with software applications Support s recommendations and plans for software development, operations and procurements Appl...
