Job Title Manufacturing Supervisor II Position Overview: Shaw Industries is hiring a Twisting Supervisor to effectively lead and continuously develop the team through managing, monitoring, and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the department. Assure optimum balance of safety, quality, cost, service, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Ensures that proper training is given to all associates to perform their jobs appropriately and identifies training needs and communicates them to the Manager. Provides hands-on coaching and support to associates to associates to improve performance and skill level. Responsible for quality on shift and works with all associates to assure quality. Maintains awareness of critical controls and ensures they are monitored and followed. Ensure that SMS requirements are up to date and being followed by all associates. Maintains good communication with associates to ensure optimal departmental safety and directs their activities when needed. Schedules and assigns associates in the most effective manner to meet the schedule. Ensures effectiveness of technicians relative to machine downtime and priorities.
