Job description

The Kitchen Steward supports the daily operations of the culinary department at Caesars Republic and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across all kitchen and food service areas. This role is responsible for dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment and workspaces, proper waste disposal, and assisting with basic kitchen setup and breakdown. The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with health regulations while supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, dish rooms, storage areas, and food preparation spaces in accordance with health department regulations and Caesars Entertainment standards. Operate industrial dishwashing equipment; properly clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and food service equipment. Ensure kitchen floors, walls, drains, trash receptacles, and refuse areas are cleaned and maintained regularly.
