Job DetailsJob Location: Watford City, ND 58854Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Not SpecifiedRegistered Nurse: Labor & Delivery Position Overview: Provides general nursing care to patients during labor and delivery and to the mother/baby couplet by performing the following duties. Key Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care and watches the patient's response to labor, delivery and postpartum phases of pregnancy, aiding and education in breastfeeding as needed. Ability to read/interpret Fetal monitor strips and respond appropriately. Provides outpatient care: iron infusions, NST’s, assessment of labor, circumcisions, bilirubin checks. Promotes wellness for patients during all phases of labor and postpartum through continuous education. Provides education and support. Documents all events and education. Communicates patient's condition to the physician and the nursing supervisor. Help other OB staff with keeping skills and learning new procedures and equipment. Provide care of mother / baby couplet.
