Job Title: Child Care Teacher Department: Child Care Location: Park Ridge Child Care Center, 1539 Long Pond Road, Rochester NY 14626 Hours Per Week: (M-F), 40 Hours Weekly Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (8 am – 5 pm) P osition Summary: Follows curriculum to provide appropriate classroom learning experience and maintains positive relationships with children and parents. Key Responsibilities: Creates an environment that supports children's growth and development. Uses the curriculum to provide weekly plans and objectives which meet individual as well as group needs. Maintains accurate individual records for each child and uses them to set goals for individual children. Establishes and achieves annual goals for classroom. Ensures the safety of the children and promotes good health habits. Effectively guides children's behavior in an age appropriate and positive manner. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all children and their families. Communicates appropriately with families regarding childrens daily activities verbally and written as needed.
