Prototype Build Technician

Job Summary: The Prototype Build Technician is responsible for hands-on assembly, debugging, and verification of prototype battery pack systems. Responsibilities: - Hands-on individual contributor role responsible for the successful assembly and building of products to meet customer requirements and expectations. - Work with the engineering team to assemble products to customer requirements and company goals. - Assemble highly complex prototype mechanical and electrical components. - Work with and report prototyping problems to Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), Production Engineering, and the Launch Manager to eliminate future production problems. - Perform preventive maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). - Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining the TPM system. - Support Maintenance Technicians, as required. - Participate when required in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and work instruction reviews. - Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements). - Assist with specification development for machinery and equipment. - Support weekend and off-shift work...
