The Opportunity Ulteig is seeking a talented, motivated Right-of-Way Specialist II to support our Right-of-Way team. This position will be based in our Denver office. The Right of Way Specialist II performs the acquisition of land rights, permits, leases, and zoning duties assigned by the supervisor with minimal supervision. Responsible for all acquisition of land rights with limited guidance and direction. May be requested to guide or mentor less experienced Right of Way Specialists. What You'll Do: - Conducts title research and ownership information on projects - Evaluate documents, plans, plats, and maps to obtain right-of-way details and ownership information - Acquire easements, options, and other forms of land rights in property - Coordinate and attend land ownership meetings for acquisition/negotiation activities - Actively participate in landowner informational meetings - Prepare documents associated with land rights, including but not limited to easements, options, permits, minor land descriptions, communication records, databases, and project status reports - Negotiate with landowners, including businesses and governmental agencies, to acquire land rights under the guidan...
