The Director of Equipment for Football leads in the planning, procurement, and implementation of all physical and fiscal requirements of the equipment operations for the football program, along with other assigned sports. - Assists with hiring, training, supervising, and fiscal oversight of all assigned teams’ student managers, including direct supervision during practice, games, and in the equipment room - Provides planning, coordinating, acquisition, safety, and use of all equipment used by the football program in compliance with all UT system, state, SoCon, NCAA and NOCSAE fiscal and physical policies and regulations - Oversees storage, distribution, and maintenance of athletic equipment for football program - Performs team and staff apparel order placement, inventory and distribution, and coordination with team apparel provider - Provides oversight of football practice and football sideline with regards to the equipment operations - Assists with tracking and logging all equipment inventory as it arrives in the Athletic Department, and ensures all packages received are distributed to the correct areas or person - Provides oversight of the football equipment budget and forecastin...
