Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, the Diagnostic Neurophysiology Technologist, performs technical functions related to Diagnostic Neurophysiology. Duties include conducting various tests such as Electroencephalography (E.E.G.), Multiple Sleep Latency, Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction studies, Electromyography (E.M.G.) and Magnetic Evoked Potentials (M.E.P.), recording measurements, formulating technical reports for interpretation by medical staff in clinical diagnosis and performing operating room monitoring procedures, as required.This work is framed within VCH’s commitments to our pillars of Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Planetary Health. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Graduation with a Diploma of Technology in Electroneurophysiology.
