Title: Adjunct Faculty- Clinical Nursing Instructor Salary Range: $31.00 per hour: Standard Hours: Varies: College: Maysville Community & Technical College Department: Academic Services: Job Duties: Adjunct nursing clinical instructors are responsible for facilitating clinical learning experiences in a variety of area healthcare facilities for no more than 10 nursing students per Kentucky Board of Nursing regulation (201 KAR 20:260). - Provide hands-on clinical instruction and supervision of nursing students while in the clinical setting of not more than 10 students per Kentucky Board of Nursing regulation (201 KAR 20:260) - Facilitate meaningful learning experiences including use of the nursing process and clinical judgement. - Assess and evaluate student learning, providing feedback in a timely manner to promote student success. - Facilitate development of clinical reasoning skills, professional identity, and use of effective communication skills while providing safe patient care in the clinical setting. - Complete clinical evaluation of student performance weekly, at mid-term and final end of term. - Act as a liaison between the nursing program and the healthcare facility. - Par...
