Sr. Accounting Specialist

Essential Job Functions: - Prepare and post journal entries - Review, analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts - Research ledger items to resolve discrepancies and explain variances - Produce monthly reports and assist in month end closing - Perform bank reconciliations. - Ability to self-manage and ensure tasks are done timely - Provide documentation and supporting schedules to auditors - Perform trend analysis on P&L accounts - Record, depreciation, payroll, A/P accruals and tax accruals - Handle straight-line rent entries, re occurring entries and allocations. - Other duties as assigned Other Skills & Abilities: - Strong working knowledge of accounting (P&L and Balance sheet) - Very focused on to detail and accuracy; double checks work. - Has good communication and interpersonal skills - Has strong organizational and prioritizing skills - Has strong problem-solving skills - Proficient in relevant computer applications; knowledge of AccPac a plus. - Familiarity with GAAP Education & Experience: Why You Should Work for Crane? - Bachelor degree in Accounting required. - 3 to 5 years of General accounting experience. - Solid experience and skills in Microsoft Excel We offer: Com...
