College Intern - IT Operations & Infrastructure

Job description

This position offers an hourly rate based on location. $18 for Chico, CA and $19 for Roseville, CA. We are seeking a technically inclined IT Operations & Infrastructure intern to support day-to-day IT operations within a corporate enterprise environment. The selected candidate will work directly within the IT department, contributing to: - Service Desk Operations - Systems documentation - Application development - Asset lifecycle management Key Responsibilities: - Handle inbound Tier 1 support requests via phone queue, performing initial triage, diagnosis, and resolution of hardware, software, network connectivity, and account-related issues within defined SLA parameters. - Troubleshoot and diagnose PC issues including OS errors, peripheral failures, application conflicts, and performance degradation; escalate unresolved incidents to Tier 2 per established escalation procedures. - Provide on-site and remote end-user assistance, guiding users through technical issues and maintaining accurate ticket documentation in the IT service management (ITSM) system. - Research, draft, and publish Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for repeatable IT processes, following establishe...
