Announcement of Internship ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP: Central Office , Waco, Texas: SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP: Supports the activities in the Engineering Services Department, including providing technical and operational support to the team. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: assist in data collection, data entry, computerized analysis and report preparation; use PC software to select, sort, and display data; assist in researching engineer reports for relevant data and documenting sources and assumptions of such data; and assist in analysis. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of: personal computers and standard software; general office procedures; and principles of math, engineering, and earth sciences. Skill/Ability to: follow directions and guidance; conduct research and apply information; operate a personal computer and standard software; perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately; read and understand technical materials; demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication; establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
