About this opportunity: Baseband Technology under Ericsson AI and technology foresight department leads technology foresight and development in the core system area of real-time processing (baseband), both for AI and non-AI methods and workloads. This includes research and develop AI models in the baseband domain within RAN, accelerated compute technology, the SW toolchain for AI on Ericsson Silicon (EMCA) and other areas vital to the AI mission, such as overseeing field data collection and AI model validation over-the-air, simulators, cloud infrastructure and more. The responsibility area also includes leading technology incubation for future SW-defined baseband planforms, for example using GPU’s and various accelerator devices.
