About the Role Carrier is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Engineering Staff Lab Technician for our 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) operations in Charlotte. This is a high impact, hands on role where you will be responsible for the technical execution of test runs on water cooled and air-cooled commercial chillers. As a member of the lab team, you will act as a "technical detective," utilizing your troubleshooting expertise to maintain test lab productivity during a critical production ramp up. This role is designed for a proactive problem solver who thrives in complex, high-speed environments. You will manage massive infrastructure, including high flow hydronic pumping systems and high-power electrical setups. You are the final gatekeeper of quality and reliability, ensuring that mission critical cooling units destined for hospitals and data centers are tested to perfection before they leave our facility.
