Position Overview: - Department: Cardiology (7 North Building) Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available: - Full-Time Nights - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, (3) 12-Hour shifts per week, (1) weekend every 4th weekend, Pattern scheduling - Full-Time Days - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, (3) 12-hour shifts per week, (1) weekend every 4th weekend, Pattern scheduling - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East (15 telemetry beds) and (8 IMC beds) - Benefits for eligible positions only include: Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and More What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization. - Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. - Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. - Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. - Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
