Job Summary: Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items. Stock, arrange, and display furniture, bric-a-brac, books, clothes, and other similar products; rotate and/or rearrange stock as needed; return items to the proper location. Perform routine security activities while observing customers shopping in the store. May assist with moving donations to the storage area; prepare and provide donation receipts. Perform various cleaning activities, including but not limited to: clean display racks, shelves, windows, mirrors, storage area; sweep and mop floors; clean other areas as needed.Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of effective customer service techniques. Knowledge of the principles and practices of basic mathematics.
