Job Summary The Drexel Partnership Comprehensive Care Practice provides expert primary and specialty healthcare for patients living with HIV regardless of their ability to pay. We are seeking a person with a positive energetic attitude with the willingness to learn and grow in the infectious disease specialty. We are looking for an individual who works well in a team environment and has a passion for providing optimal patient care. This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds. Essential Functions: - Collecting vital signs - Prepping and cleaning examine rooms - Phlebotomy - Preparing laboratory specimens; performing point of care tests on the premises - Accurately recording patient information in accordance with EMR documentation guidelines - Performing EKGs and other minor diagnostics/treatments - Administering injections, vaccines, and routine immunizations . - Assisting health care providers during examinations - Disposing of contaminated supplies - Works in partnership with clinic team members to ensure patients healthcare needs are being met - Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines - Maintains med...
