Job Profile Summary The Physical Security Coordinator is responsible for protecting Broward College employees, students, facilities, and assets through the effective design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of physical security systems. This position provides centralized oversight of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related life safety technologies, ensuring systems operate reliably, are compliant with applicable regulations, and support campus safety objectives. The Physical Security Coordinator collaborates closely with Public Safety staff, College departments, contractors, and vendors, and serves as the primary point of contact for physical security system service requests. This position reports to the Support Services Captain. Minimum Education: - Bachelor's degree required.
