Job description

Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, FL is seeking a full time Associate Buyer who will be responsible for supporting the purchasing of materials and services at the best prices, highest quality and best delivery to meet required dates. The Associate Buyer is also responsible for assisting in the procurement activity from receipt of valid requisition to acceptable receipt of items ordered and returns when necessary. This position will establish and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to determine requirements and fulfill needs in a timely manner to meet company objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES : - Assisting in the negotiations for purchases, materials and services required by the company at the best price, highest quality and best delivery possible consistent with corporate policies and procedures. - Accomplishes sourcing primary, and where applicable, a secondary list of approved vendors for type of products assigned. Enters and manages purchase orders in Corridor system. - Continuously monitors orders for delivery schedules, price changes, or other changes to the purchase order and promptly advises department originating order of current delivery status. - Works with custo...
