Packaging Assembler - MS (7:00AM - 3:30PM)

Job description

Hourly Wage: $17.75 DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY: To prepare and package finished goods for accurate and timely shipping RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: •Follow proper procedures for packaging mobility scooters and power lift recliners, wrapping and/or boxing loose components, and selecting appropriate boxes, trays, and suspension for each product and securing them with plastic banding straps, micro-foam bags, and foam inserts •Ensure all instructions and loose components are secured to the product •Scan Matrix ID with barcode scanner to ensure all units are processed accurately in Oracle •Print and apply packaging label to mobility scooters and power lift recliners •Use powered hoist to place mobility scooters into boxes •Promptly communicate barcode, packaging and banding machine issues to management •Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management •Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training •Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment •Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations •Assist with organization and cleaning o...
