Job description
As a Senior Belt Technician, at Applied Industrial Technologies , you will perform a variety of duties within a shop, in the field and at customer locations; in and out of state installing, replacing and repairing conveyor belts. We’ll ensure that you receive extensive ongoing training and provide you with solid feedback and support to reach both the company and your personal goals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Build / repair belts and rubber components - Fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting, and other rubber products - Train lower level technicians to handle, store, care for, use and set up vulcanizers - Train lower level technicians the fundamentals of installing and vulcanize lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting - Install and vulcanize lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting - Load and unload field service trucks and trailers - Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment - Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved - Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations; maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition - Supervise employees and address concerns - Professionally discuss and manage customer concerns - Ability and wil...
