Job Description Summary The Manufacturing Engineer will support various projects related to the development and industrialization of manufacturing processes in the Edison Works Supply Chain. They will be responsible for maintaining daily operations within the lab and office with a focus on machine/equipment operation, Environmental Health and Safety, facilities, and various project work. This individual will be self-directed and hands-on with capability to manage multiple tasks within a day, prioritize short term needs requiring immediate attention, and work projects of moderate complexity. Job Description: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple pieces of equipment within facility to enable delivery of development/prototype hardware, and low-rate production hardware Understanding of manufacturing practices on the shop floor In-depth knowledge of NX CAD software Ability to design and lead (with Senior support) designs of tooling for the shop floor for various operations.
