CI Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Director, Fund Taxation to support the tax operations and compliance functions across CI’s suite of investment products—including mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, mutual fund corporations, and segregated funds. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate tax reporting, supporting fund tax planning, and maintaining compliance with Canadian tax regulations. Tax Operations & Compliance: - Coordinate the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual fund tax distributions and allocations. - Assist in the preparation and filing of fund tax returns, including T3, T5, and NR4 slips. - Support the review of mock and final year-end distributions and tax factors. - Ensure compliance with CRA requirements and assist with audit engagements.
