Psych MidLevel Practitioner-IP - Skyview Unit - ( 2602334 ) Description The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Clinical Director or Staff Psychiatrist - Inpatient, provides direct psychiatric care to patients assigned to inpatient psychiatric facilities within the UTMB sector of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). EQUIPMENT: Standard office and medical equipment. - Contribute to the success of UTMB Correctional Managed Care. - Provides direct psychiatric care to patients assigned to psychiatric inpatient facilities, under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Staff Psychiatrist - Inpatient. - Regularly participates in clinical consultations with the facility mental health and medical staff. - Conducts psychiatric assessments and develops treatment plans for assigned patients under the supervision of the Clinical Director or Staff Psychiatrist - Inpatient. - Participates in the psychiatry QI/QM program. - Provides emergency psychiatric call. - Works a...
